Hello;
We thank you for taking the time to visit our website and to consider our
request. Currently, Steve and I are under contract with Universal Publishing.
UP publishes maps, and also the Gregory's UDP Street Guides.
Another branch of Gregory's is their thematic guide books which cover subjects such as fishing in Australia, caravanning in Australia, National Parks in Australia, 4WD Weekend Trips in Australia, and so on.
For further information, please visit their website at www.gregorys-online.com or www.universalpublishing.com.au
Our work for UP involves three books: one is on a grand 4WD journey around Australia linking trips up to Cape Tribulation, the Savannah Way from Cairns to Kununurra,
the Kimberley via the Gibb River Road (including Kalumburu and the Bungle
Bungles), the Pilbara and the Coral Coast, and so on down the west coast,
the south, back up through the Centre, and then down the east coast.
The second book is on short 4WD trips from the major urban centres: Melbourne,
Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin, Perth and Adelaide. The third book
is a compilation of the first two. They will be published in 2008.
The books cover specific routes and give the reader information on road
conditions, facilities along the way, and most important of all: what to
see and what to do when you get there! This is where you come in.
With your assistance, we can include information on specific tours, events
and venues that we have found interesting and/or entertaining, and we can
also include images. Our guide books do not charge for this, we simply
want to give our readers a bit of an idea of what they can do in a particular
area. All we need from you is the chance to experience your product so
that we can pass along the information.
So, we invite you to explore our website to find out a bit more about Steve and I. If you have any further questions, please email me on naturalwandersoz@aol.com, or call me on 0427-056-088. Below, I have included
a letter from the Director of Universal Publishing to confirm our work
with them.
Thank you, and we look forward to to speaking with you further about this.
Regards,
Linda Lee Rathbun
