 Man's Impact On Planet Earth




Thousands of fish died due to phosphate run-off
from nearby agriculture and golf courses.
Lake Trafford, Florida




This flying-fox was impaled on a barbed-wire
fence , suffering a slow death in the hot sun.
The rescue was traumatic for the bat and us.
We treated its torn wingwith iodine, gave it lots of
water to drink, and released it near a
camp of other flying-foxes.




This baby kangaroo was orphaned when its mother
was hit by a car, one of thousands killed every year.
